Coming soon……

…the adventures of Hubcat, feline champion of school libraries across Australia.

Born in New York in 1995, Hubcat was led by his natural pussycat curiosity to travel to Australia to meet with people and let them know that school libraries make a difference!  A law abiding cat, Hubcat is currently relaxing at the AQIS quarrantine station in Spotswood, Melbourne, until they confirm that he is a disease-free and rather fine specimen of cat.  After this time, he will be looking for opportunities to meet with principals, teachers, students and parents and check out some great school libraries.

For now though, it’s just rest and relaxation.

  1. Oh – Dear Hubcat- I can’t wait for the next update – how fabulous!!! I may even convert to being a cat lover!!

But I must warn you – on your travels around the world – you will need to be careful when coming to the U.A.E. if you ever dare to venture this away after your quarantine adventures in Spotswood.

Here, felines run wild – you would be shocked at their behaviour but of course we know that cats are not always responsible for their own behaviour. so we have …

Feline Friends which is a non profit making organization that helps cats in the U.A.E.

Volunteers rescue and re-home stray cats and kittens; promote the control of street cats by sterilization and re-release and provide care and relief to sick and injured cats and kittens.

    Cheers from a dog lover
